Interpreters do much of the day-to-day work of the co-op. We want to ensure that they don't have more power in the co-operative than our user members. To ensure the views of all members are heard, we will:

(a) Have a separate user members’ circle

(b) Encourage more member participation from that circle

(c) Have representatives that can be part of both circles using double-linking Sociocratic principles so the lines of communication are kept open between all groups

(d) Have a purpose circle where both a worker member and a user member are present to ensure all voices are heard.

Any decisions that may negatively affect the other members’ circle i.e. decisions made by the user members group or by the worker member group, can be agreed in principle then taken to the general members’ circle for a final decision.
